I keyed the hospital pass code into my research terminal to view the results of the anatomy. What I found wasn surprising. The monotone voice droned that they had found extensive tissue damage, especially in the lung area of ??the patient. In other words the iron clumps had punched holes through the patient body. The whole team reckoned that this was a one off occurrence, and I hope they are right Seth 9a.m. it was time to begin my shift , up until then the hospital wards had been quiet. Despair flooded my senses as I flew back to the lab. 24 hours. Just 24 hours. Seth I was contacted by Professor Ming and requested to fly to his lab as soon as possible. The speed at which the crystal worked was fascinating, because once it came into contact with the blood it took less than a second to begin taking effect. To find a cure would take a miracle. Amazingly, we had one coming our way. Ming We rushed feverishly around the lab, running tests on the infected blood samples. With only one hour to go, we were running out of time. My hopes began to crumble and despair swept in as every test we ran came back negative. Then we found it; the cure, in a contaminated crystal sample. A ginkgo leaf had fallen into the sample, and it had therefore been discarded. However upon examination, all the clumps of iron had been dissolved. With only five minutes left I was jubilant as I strapped myself into the jet. I was relieved as I arrived at the governor office and flung the door open proudly waving my ginkgo leaf.
